Plus, as with the entire Ruff and Tuff vehicle lineup the LX2 model qualifies for both the 50% state income tax and $5,435.68 federal income tax credits..

The Emergency Economic Stabilization Act (EESA) offers a tax credit for qualified plug-in electric vehicles of $2,500 PLUS $417 for every kilowatt hour in excess of 4KW. The CLX2, CLX4 and 4x4 have an 11.04 Kilowatt Hour Capacity. Based on this formula, the tax credit can be calculated as follows:
$2,500+($417x7.04)=$5435.68 Credit
